Technische Universität Berlin established a satellite campus in Egypt to act as a scientific and academic field office. The nonprofit public-private partnership (PPP) offers German services provided by TU Berlin at the campus in El Gouna, on the Red Sea. TU Berlin has established three new master’s degree programs – in Energy Engineering, Urban Development, and Water Engineering – as pilot programs at the new campus. more to:
Early Application Period for 2015 - 2017 Master's Now Open
Hand in your complete application until 9 February 2014 and you will be informed about the decision of the Selection Committee within two weeks. Accepted candidates will receive a Preliminary Letter of Acceptance to support them in their quest for external funding.

Information Day "Postdoc Opportunities in Germany" at DWZ, Cairo
03 December 2014, Cairo - Representatives from Campus El Gouna presented postdoc opportunities at TU Berlin at the German Science Center (DWZ) in Cairo.
Already two hours before the beginning of the official program, most of the over 200 interested guests from various research institutions and universities from all over Egypt were waiting in front of the gate and later on were watching the introduction films about the participating German institutions in the lecture hall and in an additional tent.
Master and More Fair
03 December 2014, Berlin - Together with numerous German and international universities, TUB Campus El Gouna presented its three Master's programs at the "Master and More" fair at Postbahnhof in Berlin. Hundreds of interested strolled through the ample halls to inform themselves about further academic possibilities.
Minister of Urban Renewal and Informal Settlements and Red Sea Governor at TUB Campus El Gouna
31 October 2014 - On the sidelines of the second vocational service seminar of the Rotary Club, a high-level meeting took place between H.E. Dr. Laila Iskander, Egyptian Minister of Urban Renewal and Informal Settlements, H.E. General Ahmed Abdallah, Governor of the Red Sea Region, and representatives of TU Berlin Campus El Gouna. The meeting was initiated by the Department of Urban Development, led by Prof. Adrian Atkinson and moderated by Dr. Hassan El Mouelhi.
German Science Day 2014 for Graduates and Researchers
The German Science Center (DWZ) in Cairo is organising the German Science Day 2014 for Graduates and Researchers, which takes place on 15 November. The aim of the event is "to present the many facets of education and research made in Germany".
TU Berlin Campus El Gouna will also be represented with an information stand and three of our research associates will present the latest results of their research activities.

1 November 2014 - Thousands of interested people flocked to the beautiful Azhar Park in Cairo to celebrate German-Egyptian cooperation on Saturday. The event offered great opportunities to get in touch with big German companies like BASF, Lufthansa, and Allianz. Furthermore, many other organisations presented their work and contributions to the German-Egyptian partnership, such as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, or the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
