Apply now all year round
We have removed the fixed application periods for our three Master’s programs in Energy Engineering, Urban Development, and Water Engineering. The programs commence once per year in October. You can now apply for the next intake up to twelve months in advance.
We expect this change in procedures to significantly enhance the chances of our prospective students to find suitable scholarships, as many donor organizations require several months to process funding requests. We therefore advise all interested students to apply for our Master’s programs as early as possible. After reviewing and approving your application documents, we will issue a letter of acceptance, which you can submit to scholarships providers with a request for financial assistance.
To avoid misunderstandings during your application, we would like to stress that our Master’s programs take place in El Gouna, Egypt (two or three semesters, depending on the program), and Berlin, Germany (one semester or one-month excursion, depending on the program). The tuition fees for our two-year Master’s programs amount to €20,000. For further information, please consult our FAQ section.

On Saturday 1 November 2014 thousands of interested people flocked to the beautiful Azhar Park in Cairo to celebrate German-Egyptian cooperation. The event offered great opportunities to get in touch with big German companies like BASF, Lufthansa, and Allianz. Furthermore, many other organisations presented their work and contributions to the German-Egyptian partnership, such as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, or the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Congratulations to our Contest-Winning Students
The Center of Knowledge Interchange (CKI), which is a cooperation between TU Berlin and Siemens, organized a competition under the topic “Designing Smarter Cities”. The contest had two main sections, “Intelligent District Energy Management” and “Integrated Mobility for Sustainable Facilities”.
Ten finalists were chosen from both sections to present their ideas in front of a jury that consisted of experts in the fields of energy and mobility from TU Berlin, Siemens, and the Berlin Senate Department of Urban Development and Environment. Two students of TU Berlin Campus El Gouna made it to the last round.
Studies Information Day in Cairo
TU Berlin Campus El Gouna had the opportunity to participate at the “studies information day”, which was held at the German Evangelist Highschool in Cairo (DEO) on 29 October. This event takes place annually and is organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). It offers German higher education institutes the opportunity to present themselves and inform the potential students regarding their institution, study programs, facilities, and exchange opportunities.
