Short curriculum vitae

After finishing his Masters in the Energy Engineering department at TU Berlin Campus El Gouna, Louay Elmorsy joined one of the leading construction companies in the middle east, Orascom Construction. Being a Masters graduate of TU Berlin, Louay was given the responsibility of coordinating the construction of a 4.8 GW Combined-Cycle Power Plant in partnership with Siemens AG and later on fulfilling the newly introduced position as energy projects coordinator where he worked on developing different types of utility scale conventional and renewable energy as well as water projects as part of the concessions department.


In April 2017 Louay joined TU Berlin Campus El Gouna team as a research and teaching assistant to continue his research work on integrated conventional and renewable energy systems in the MENA region.
