Lupe

On January 23rd, the students of the Master's program Energy Engineering at TU Berlin Campus El Gouna took the chance to visit the Hurghada Power Station.

The visit itself started with a warm welcome and an introduction session with Eng. Abdelhameed Mahmoud, who gave us an interesting presentation about the Power Station and its essential components. We learnt that the steadily increasing hunger for electricity forced the government to an urgent plan to expand existing power plants where it is easily viable - like in Hurghada. Therefore the Hurghada Power Station is getting an extension at the moment.
